Corona Virus Update 1

Curborough Sprint Course -  Update 13th April 2020

In line with government instructions and guidelines, and Motorsport UK’s suspension of all motorsport activity until at least 30th June 2020, the Curborough Sprint Course is currently closed for all activity until further notice.
This includes the Shenstone & DCC Club Track Afternoons scheduled for 25th April and 23rd May, the Sprint School on 5th May, the Introduction to Sprinting Day on 17th May, and the MSUK Permit Sprint on 24th May.
A long list of events but sadly necessary.
The SDCC Club Track Afternoon on 4th July and the MSUK Permit Sprint scheduled for Sunday 5th July will be subject to a review at a future date but must be considered doubtful currently.
Shenstone & DCC is exploring all the current government initiatives to assist companies financially through the pandemic, such as business rate holidays, VAT payment deferral and grants available. Clearly, should any more initiatives be available SDCC will investigate those for the long term benefit of the club and venue.
We will aim to keep everybody updated via appropriate channels including the Club’s web site https://www.curborough.co.uk and Social Media when further information becomes available.
Specific questions can be sent to compsec@curborough.co.uk.
So please keep yourself and your families safe and healthy and Stay safe.
